This document tells you which distribution of JaxoDraw you should download, depending on your operating system and set-up.

The easiest way to install JaxoDraw on Windows is via the binary self installer. Note however that you will need to install a JRE yourself in this case.

The easiest way to install JaxoDraw on Mac OS X is via the binary disc image. Note that this one was built on Mac OS X 10.3.4, it might not work on earlier versions. Please check also this README file for some special documentation on JaxoDraw on Mac OS X.
If your operating system is neither of the above, but you know that it supports a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) (for instance Solaris/Sparc), you may still be lucky and get JaxoDraw to run!
